DESCRIPTION

Total weather protection, designed to withstand the Quebec climate. The enclosure closes completely whether the charging station is plugged in or not.

The locking mechanism (lock not included) provides additional security against theft and reduces the risk of electrocution by children.

This reduces labor costs for the electrician during installation, as they only need to bring the cable from the dedicated circuit breaker to the outlet. The NEMA 14-50R receptacle is already assembled in the OUTLET. The enclosure is duly CERTIFIED CSA NEMA 3R.

With stations equipped with this conector, it is very easy to unplug the charging station and take it with you (e.g., to charge at a cottage or another location).

We recommend this NEMA 14-50 outlet (oven) instead of the NEMA 6-50 (welder) outlet because automobile manufacturers appear to have chosen this standard.
