DESCRIPTION OF THE LOAD CONTROLLER IN CONDO SOLUTION

The DCC-12 is an electric vehicle energy management system specially designed to allow a charging station to be connected to an electrical panel that would not otherwise have sufficient capacity for the connection. Unlike the DCC-9 and DCC-10, there is no circuit breaker inside the DCC-12 acting as an intermediary between the charging station and the electrical panel.

OPERATION

Real-time reading of the home electrical panel’s energy consumption;

Detects when the total energy consumption exceeds 80% of the main circuit breaker’s capacity and temporarily cuts off power to the charging station;

Automatically restores power to the charging station when the total electrical panel consumption is less than 80% of its capacity for more than 15 minutes.

he Gen-3 of the DCC-12 has the ability to receive and transmit load shedding instructions from an external energy management system via a dry contact input and output.
